Cheryl did her undergraduate work at the University of Maine and Michigan State University. She then received her Master of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Michigan State. Cheryl and her husband, Ed, have three cats at home - Ivan and Howard, who were foster failures, and Dewey, who is inconvenienced by the youngsters but deals with it by rolling in catnip. They also have a Boxer, Onslow, who excels at anything he can do without moving off the couch.
When Ed and Cheryl are not participating in motorsports at Watkins Glen, you'll find Cheryl trying to stay ahead of the weeds in her walk-through garden, writing short stories, and buying more books than she could ever read.
