Our Dedicated Team Members
Dr. Bob Lann
Bob Lann DVM, owner and hospital director, joined the practice in 2012. Dr. Lann did his undergraduate work at The Ohio State University and received his veterinary degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987 (For those who are thinking “wow he’s old” – at least I got to see the Apollo 11 moon landing live!). His professional interests include cardiology, internal medicine, and management of behavioral problems.
Dr. Lann is the father of two intelligent and active boys (a lethal combination) and the servant of 3 cats named Maddie, Ethan, and Vesper (all of whom were adopted from Cats Exclusively). He has been doing NY Times crossword puzzles since finding them useful for the odd boring lecture at Ohio State and has never looked back. Current interests include history (he is currently teaching himself to read ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs) and amateur paleontology. Rochester is a fantastic area for fossil hunting wherein you can find shells, plants, and trilobites 300-350 million years old. Here is a link to one of his fossil hunting adventures.

Dr. Cheryl Ragalevsky
Cheryl Ragalevsky, MS, DVM, has been a veterinarian for over 33 years, most of which were spent as an owner of a housecall practice. Cheryl did her undergraduate work at the University of Maine and Michigan State University. She then received her Master of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Michigan State. Cheryl's practice interests include cats who “think” outside the box and senior cats. She is also Human-Animal Bond Certified.
Cheryl and her husband, Ed, have two cats at home - Ivan and Howard, who were foster failures and now, are general layabouts.
When Ed and Cheryl are not participating in motorsports at Watkins Glen, you'll find Cheryl trying to stay ahead of the weeds in her walk-through garden, writing short stories, and buying more books than she could ever read.
