We maintain a special fund at Cats Exclusively for helping patients in need. It is our Kitty Angel Fund. If you would like to donate to this fund please contact us at (585)248-9590 or you can make a donation in person at our office.
I was rescued and now I help others.
5/2/17 Thank you Angel Network for standing by to help pretty Penny with her broken leg. She is not limping anymore and at her next check up we will assess how well the bone is healing.
This sweet little 7 week old kitten Penny MAY need your help. She has a broken femur and she is resting her leg for a couple weeks to see how well it will heal on it's own. IF it does not and she needs surgery we would like to collect some names of people that might be willing to help her out. Please Private Message us at Cats Exclusively with your name. Or call us at the office (585)248-9590 to leave your name. Penny's owner has some big decisions to make in the near future and we want to assure her that she is on the radar of our little Kitty Angel Network and that we can help her IF surgery ends up being necessary. We certainly hope that it won't be necessary. We are not collecting any funds right now, just names. Here is Penny's story: My name is Hannah and this is my 7 week old kitten Penny. I rescued her from a barn, and if I didn't, she would've been left for dead. At the barn, someone accidentally stepped on her hind leg, and when I got her we assumed that it was a simple sprain. It turns out it's a severe femur break which truly breaks my heart since she's just a baby. She's full of life, but when she runs, she holds her leg out and hops her way around. You can tell she's in discomfort when you hold her, because she whines consistently and it makes me feel extremely helpless. Penny is the apple of my eye and helped to pull me out of a dark time in my life. Please help me get her the help she needs in order to be able to walk normally.
Update on Mattie the Silver Fox!
We are happy to be moving forward on Mattie's surgery and hope to have a new updaye for everyone real soon!
3/1/17 Mattie has recovered wonderfully and should live a long and happy life thanks to the help of all the kitty angels.
11/22/16 Matese (Mattie) Emler the "Silver Fox" is a beautiful siamese russian blue mix. He was diagnosed with feline stomatitis when he was about 5 years old. He is now 10-1/2 years old. When he was diagnosed his vet did a thorough cleaning of his teeth and he was much better for about a year and a half, but the disease came back. Since then, he's had to receive steroid shots and antibiotics almost every month to keep the stomatitis at bay. Mattie is like Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde - when he doesn't feel well he goes into hiding and it takes a lot of patience and coaxing to get him to come out and eat and he'll only eat if he can sit next to me. When he's been treated, he's out going, eats well and even plays. My new doctor at Cats Exclusively Veterinary Hospital says his stomatitis has gotten much worse and a full mouth tooth extraction will cure him and I believe it will! I'd like him to spend his remaining years happy and pain free. If you can help, I would greatly appreciate it, and so would little Mattie. I don't have the money to do this on my own. Sincerely, Rhonda Emler
Missy adoption update! 1/19/2016
Missy is adopted!!! Linda will be so happy. smile emoticonThank you everyone for helping to find her a great home.heart emoticon
We love you, Missy!
One of my favorite people... One of my favorite people, that's a strong statement because, if you know me, you know I prefer animals to people most of the time. One of my favorite people in the world...had cancer. I say had cancer because she doesn't have it anymore now that she is in Heaven. One of my favorite people who was so full of love, who was so full of life, who fought the good fight for years and years. Who wasn't sure if she wanted to adopt a kitty because she knewshe may not outlive her. I had told her she needed to adopt Missy because Missy wanted to love her and I knew she would love Missy. And they did love each other and they did make each other happy. We are taking care of Missy now at the hospital. Missy will need a new family to love. She is a 7 year old female spayed cat who is extremely affectionate. She is a bit overweight but we are going to start her on a diet. Don't worry Linda, we are going to find Missy a wonderful home.
Dear Kitty Angels,
Lilly Jasmine needs your help. Her owner is a single-mom with three children. Lily Jasmine got lost for two weeks and one day when one of her son's was walking home from school he heard his kitty crying. Lilly Jasmine was trapped in the storm drain. The town of Perinton folks came and opened the drain and rescued her.
She is very thin and was given an antibiotic and fluids in hopes that she would get her weight back, however she is not doing well and seems to be drinking excessively and not eating well.
Her owner needs a hand so we can run some diagnostics on her. If you can spare a donation for her we would really appreciate it.

Your friends at Cats Exclusively
Wow! I'm so grateful! I have lived in the community for 32 years. The generosity and support of the Cats Exclusively community is greatly appreciated.
Thank you everyone for your overwhelming response and kindness. We were able to do all the testing we needed to asses Lilly Jasmine and she is home with her family now. Being trapped for so long did take a severe toll on her body. She is receiving treatment for her condition. So many kitty angels responded, not only were we able to cover the cost of diagnosis, we have a fund set up for some long term care. Thank you everyone, we love you!
It is with deep sorrow we helped Lilly Jasmine "cross the rainbow bridge" today. She was unable to overcome the extreme stress her body went through. We are broken-hearted for Lilly Jasmine and her wonderful loving family.
